TEACCH Task Friday!!

I hope everyone has had a good week. Sorry I have not been able to blog all week. Very busy with meetings and not feeling well. Plus it is a three day weekend so I am excited. So this blog is going to be short but I wanted to get a blog out there on TEACCH Task Friday.

This first task is a matching task for an ocean theme. The students will take a index card with a picture on it. They will look in the red bucket for the card that matches and then they put it in the finished basket. This task can be done for numerous subjects. For example, the cards could hav coins on them, they could have letters from the alphabet or they could have a picture and then find the word to match the picture. There are many ways this task can be done.

This task is one of my students favorites. This is a flashlight task. For this task the student starts on the left side and gets the pieces they need to put the flashlight together. Once they get their pieces they will then get the flashlight and put the pieces together. Once the flashlight is together they will put it in the finished basket.
